Alcoholism/ Drug addiction has taken proportions of being a social menace. Millions of people are affected by it in India alone. Despite the magnitude of the problem, few understand the core. Addiction is a disease and requires the same acuity as that of treating any other fatal disease. No one understands an addict better than a fellow addict who has been through similar experiences and the same psychological trauma.

With this in mind, recovering addicts came together and established Arpan Foundation.
